{"id":609,"date":"2017-06-26T11:50:39","date_gmt":"2017-06-26T10:50:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gnss-africa.org\/?p=609"},"modified":"2021-10-18T09:15:49","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T08:15:49","slug":"aato-and-egnos-africa-jpo-join-forces-together","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gnss-africa.org\/?p=609","title":{"rendered":"AATO and EGNOS-AFRICA JPO join forces together"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"block-system-main\" class=\"block block-system block-main block-system-main odd block-without-title\">\n<div class=\"block-inner clearfix\">\n<div class=\"content clearfix\">\n<article id=\"node-news-381\" class=\"node node-news node-promoted  node-published node-not-sticky author-semoudiouf odd clearfix\">\n<div class=\"content clearfix\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p><strong><em>\u2018AATO will collaborate with JPO to create standardized training in GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems)\u2019<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>On the 11-13 April, 2017, Ethiopian Airlines was the host of the 4th International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) <\/em><em>Global Aviation Training and TRAINAIR PLUS Symposium with the theme: <\/em><em>\u201c<\/em><strong><em>Together, Enhancing Training to Build Capacity\u201d<\/em><\/strong><em>, organized in Addis Ababa and which is the first of its kind to be organised in Africa. It involved State Members ICAO and training organisations across the Continent.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Ahead of this important Symposium, <strong>AATO and JPO<\/strong> signed an important cooperation agreement in the form of a MoU to address future needs in terms of capacity building in the global navigation satellite systems domain for Africa, from technical but also on the legal and institutional aspects.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The JPO who participated to the review meeting of the <strong>AATO training roadmap<\/strong> was honored to be associated and to take part in this continental wide programme for Africa.
